《Firefly》

In the moonless night

the firefly emboldens itself to flight

The brooding darkness mocks

the spirited flight of fly delight

The limitless darkness could

swallow this miniscule attempt of light

The skeptics’ cantankerous laughter

swept the inner spaces within me to ask:

Can a firefly light the world?

Yes, firefly am I

If life’s summers have warmed you,

your inner spaces have charmed you,

I could set you afire, and the world too

在没有月亮的晚上

萤火虫壮着胆子飞翔

阴森逼人的黑暗嘲笑着

这意气风发的飞翔的快乐

无尽的黑暗可以
